Very scarce waisted soda glass vase from the Enamel Trail series (sometimes referred to as the Ceramic Trail series) in subtle and elegant Shadow Green with contrasting applied white enamel rim.
This vase is from a series of thin-walled mould-blown vases with applied enamel trails, designed in 1964 by Geoffrey Baxter to utilise waste materials from the factory's manufacture of thermometers.
This striking series was, however, short-lived, being discontinued in 1966 due to difficulty in applying the enamel and, as such, it is rarely seen on the secondary market.
